Position:            Marketing/Community Liaison Officer

Supervised By: Registered Manager/Director of Operations

Qualifications:

  1. Ability to meet liability insurance criteria.
  2. Eighteen years of age or older and eligible to work in the UK.
  3. Demonstrated and superior ability to effectively communicate and interact with customers, clients, referral sources, co-workers, and all supervisors.
  4. Excellent telephone communication skills required
  5. Excellent research, internet and IT skills required
  6. Minimum 3 GCE ‘A’ Levels and post secondary education in marketing or equivalent subject, strongly recommended. University degree desired.
  7. At least 3 years experience in a sales and marketing capacity, with experience relevant to account acquisition and development in the care industry.
  8. Ability to perform multiple tasks under strict deadlines

Routine Duties:

  1. The ultimate goal of this position is to ensure controlled and sustained company growth while maintaining high standards of service. This includes responding to customers in an efficient and professional manner while reporting comments, feedback and concerns to relevant supervisory in a structured and timely manner.
  2. Sales efforts in the care field will be focussed primarily on relationship building with referral sources in each market area and will involve prospect research, telemarketing and field travel. Initial training in market research and penetration will be provided.
  3. Sales goals and objectives will be planned and discussed prior to significant efforts being expended ComForcare management will provide input as to how and where to most efficiently allocate sales efforts. The position will provide a high degree of autonomy within the broad constraints of the predetermined goals and objectives.
  4. Frequent planning and debriefing meetings will be required to interpret and communicate sales progress, including regular staff meetings to update all administrative personnel.
  5. Accurate and timely sales logs will be utilised to correlate sales efforts with all activities recorded in the company’s software system.
  6. The Community Liaison Officer will assist with special project coordination at the discretion of the Registered Manager/Director of Operations, such as but not limited to, expansion of existing programmes.ComForcare Senior Services encourages involvement in growth opportunities for all administrative staff in order to prepare staff for promotional opportunities.
  7. The Community Liaison Officer will be included in the rota for out-of-hours on-call scheduling and emergency duties, details are advised by the Administrative Coordinator/Scheduler.
