We have provided a list of the most frequently asked questions regarding
ComForcareTM’s franchised opportunity. You may want to print this
page for future reference.
Question: How much is the total start up cost needed to open a franchise?
Answer:
Total start up cost to open a ComForcare Senior Services business will
range typically between £50,000 and £75,000, subject to your own business plan, although if you
are lending part of your investment from a bank, you may only need
between £25,000 and £35,000. This includes the £25,000 Franchise Fee.
Question: Does ComForcare offer financing?
Answer:
Owners secure their own finance for the business, usually through a bank.
It is advisable if you wish to pursue this to speak to the Franchising Team
in each bank. They will be familiar with the ComForcare Business Model and
this is more likely to be a cost effective solution for you, than going to
your local branch. We can provide you with the contact details in order for
you to do this.
Question: Am I given territorial protection?
Answer: Yes. You will be awarded an exclusive territory under the terms of your agreement and subject to relevant legislation.
Question: What is the term of the franchise agreement?
Answer:
The initial term is for five years, renewable for successive 5
years periods, subject to the agreement, often referred to in the UK as
rolling-renewals.
Question: What is the charge for ongoing management service fees (or royalty)?
Answer:
The management service fee is on a descending scale beginning at 5% of gross sales.
Question: Are there meetings with fellow business owners?
Answer:
We encourage all franchise business owners to attend our national conference and
regional meetings. These venues provide opportunities to learn from one another.
Question: Can I sell my business?
Answer:
Yes. Like any business, you can sell to a buyer approved by the corporate office.
